ALL NEW FOR 2017, D3 is proud to introduce the ARC-S Slalom.

The new ARC-S (ADVANCED ROCKER & CONCAVE) shares the same mold as the regular ARC and is the culmination of a two-year project to design and develop a ski that offers the ultimate in slalom ski performance.  Denny, Will, Nate & the crew basically started with a fresh canvas on this project to try and take an totally fresh look at ski width, rocker and concave, existing shapes, new shapes, what works, and what doesn’t.  The end result is the all new ARC which Denny and his team feel is the greatest slalom ski design in the history of any Denny Kidder brand. No gimmicks, no gadgets, just the perfect ski with the perfect shape.  In this design process we learned that there was a need for “softer-more forgiving” ski.  We also learned that alot of skiers like to have a softer ski that would afford them a bigger sweet spot as they moved to shorter line lengths and allow them to have a ski that was simply easier to ski on.  The ARC-S is the answer to those skiers needs.  This is a departure to our thought of a “ladies & mens specific flex”.  In the course of testing skis, we really found the flex of the ski and size the skiier preferred to ski on really depended on the style and needs of that specific skier.  Also that not all women need or want a softer ski.    The ARC-S also is the perfect solution for skiers who have to drop down their boat speed for their skier division but still want a ski with true short line performance at the slower speed.  The ARC-S is the answer to their demands.

Key Features on the all new D3 ARC-S Slalom:

* Natural Radius Rocker Profile- Creates a tight radius turn that starts with ease and finishes completely.

* Aggressive Concave Depth- Allows the ARC to grab powerful angle and cross course hold; giving the skier the ability to add direction thru the wakes. The result- a ski that is faster and earlier to the next buoy.

* Wider Forebody- Provides more support and course width without losing speed thru the turn. The ARC casts outbound better than any ski D3 has ever produced.

* Tip to tail bevel design- The bevel assembly of the ARC stays consistent from tip to tail to allow a smooth precise water flow. This keeps the ski moving even when aggresively attacking the shortest line lengths.

* 45/45 Carbon Fiber Laminate Layup- This unique layup allows the ARC to recover from the massive loads of short line turns. This keeps the ARC stable and predictable to maximize cross course direction out of the turns.

Softer Flex Pattern- The  ARC-S is a slightly softer version of the ARC that has all the same awesome characteristics. The ARC-S is the perfect solution for lighter skiers and also for those skiers who are at the lower end of the weight range for a particular size ski. The ARC-S is the solution for skiers who prefer to ski the next larger size ski and for those that are dropping speed divisions but still want short line performance.

* Rockerblock R-30- Is standard equipment on all ARC slalom skis. The success of the Rockerblock has carried D3 to World Slalom Records. Its natural radius delivers a

D3 LEVERAGE "BLACK OUT" FRONT BINDING

The traditional rubber ski boot is back. Snug, comfortable and durable the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT is what a rubber binding was always meant to be. We have improved the fit, comfort and quality of the Leverage binding. Like our skis, the new LEVERAGE BLACKOUT is built entirely in the USA utilizing only the best materials available.

The LEVERAGE BLACKOUT boots are for the skier looking for a no-nonsense, flexible design that fits very snug, keeping the skier connected to the ski, while still allowing a full 360 degrees of motion to the upper ankle. The best word to use in describing the performance of the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT is “forgiving”. If you have tried hard-shell systems or the new wake-board boot style bindings and found them unforgiving or inconsistent then the all new LEVERAGE BLACKOUT boots may be just what you are looking for. Skiers seeking more lateral support and a stiffer upper ankle design see our T-Factor front lace binding.

In keeping with D3’s “performance first” philosophy we use only screen printed graphics on the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT. Using molded rubber or plastic accoutrements as graphic elements can limit a bindings ability to stretch. For this reason we have stayed away from flashy graphics and have focused on a clean, screen printed, all black look.

The LEVERAGE BLACKOUT front boot features a new plastic heel cup insert. This insert, while out of sight, provides generous support around the entire lower heel area. In order to adjust the amount of upper ankle control a skier may prefer we have made the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT overlay adjustable. To significantly firm-up the upper ankle of the binding simply adjust the side overlay straps. The tighter they become the more support the skier will feel.

The LEVERAGE BLACKOUT binding does not have laces. Our new overlay design features a generous opening making the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT easy to get into. Each toe and heel rubber feature a sewn, padded, nylon strap handle which also facilitates easy entry and provides the ultimate in durability.D3 LEVERAGE "BLACK OUT" REAR BINDING

Snug, comfortable and durable the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT is what a rear rubber binding was always meant to be. We have improved the fit, comfort and quality of the Leverage binding. Like our skis, the new LEVERAGE BLACKOUT is built entirely in the USA utilizing only the best materials available.

The LEVERAGE BLACKOUT rear boot is for the skier looking for a no-nonsense, flexible design that fits very snug, keeping the skier connected to the ski, while still allowing a full 360 degrees of motion to the upper ankle. The best word to use in describing the performance of the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT rear boot is “forgiving”. If you have searched for the right rear boot to match with your REFLEX Hard-shell front or you are looking for a rear boot that keeps your foot in place but is soft enough to allow the skier to focus the control on the front foot, look no further. Skiers seeking more lateral support and a stiffer upper ankle design see our T-Factor rear lace binding.

In keeping with D3’s “performance first” philosophy we use only screen printed graphics on the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT. Using molded rubber or plastic accoutrements as graphic elements can limit a bindings ability to stretch. This can also make a binding stiffer. For this reason we have stayed away from flashy graphics and have focused on a clean, screen printed, all black look. A rear boot needs to have smooth clean lines to reduce water drag. The LEVERAGE BLACKOUT rear boot will not grab water in the turns.

For the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT rear boot we have removed the plastic heel support found in the front foot version. We chose to make this rear boot as soft and flexible as possible. We believe strongly that the majority of a skiers control should be provided by the front foot. By reducing the stiffness of the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT rear boot we make skiing front foot prominent easier. Because spacing between your feet is critical we have designed multiple options for positioning the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT rear boot. The traditional three-slots on the plate to move forward and back, additionally one can move the boot itself on the plate forward or aft. This is an exceptional advantage for skiers with either very large or very small feet. As an added bonus there are optional positions to slightly adjust the fore-body of the boot for width. The LEVERAGE BLACKOUT rear boot has never been more customizable.

The LEVERAGE BLACKOUT rear binding does not have laces. Our new overlay design features a generous opening making the LEVERAGE BLACKOUT easy to get into. Each toe and heel rubber feature a sewn, padded, nylon strap handle which also facilitates easy entry and provides the ultimate in durability.
