stra-da [strah-duh], noun: A way, or the path.
There is no doubt
that water ski design is a constant evolution of engineering and
science. Computer Aided Design is the standardized tool for creating new
shapes. Herb O’Brien was the first to use this technology 20 years ago,
and he has utilized the sport's leading design programmers to create
every one of his skis since. Regardless of how space age we've become
sitting at our computers, it is no substitute for vision or on-water
experience and education. Our skis' rider-friendly feel could only have
been attained by the hours we have spent behind the boat, learning what
truly works and what translates from the lake to the computer screen. To
build progressive shapes that decide the direction of industry design,
you need progressive minds. Minds that understand technique and ski
shape, working daily, experimenting and searching for the next big
thing.
We are pleased to
present our latest slalom project born from over a century of on the
water experience and engineering. The Strada is the most user friendly
balanced ride we have ever created. The side-to-side speed is lightning
quick, allowing for more space between you and the buoy. The signature
4-stage rocker is the foundation for this platform of speed and balance.
Dual bevel configuration creates a quick turning on-side and a level
riding off-side. Deep channeled tip contours remove excess mass in the
tip of the ski and reinforce the design. You will no doubt be impressed
by the speed and balance of the Strada. Take your skiing to another level...
