“Anyone who watched Jonathan Travers last season could see why the 2008 Nomad RCX broke all of our yearly ski sale records. In 2008 Jon consistently ran 39 in every MC Pro Tour event he entered. That consistency was rewarded when Jon Travers was named 2008 Slalom Skier of the year by USA Water Ski.
Continuing in the tradition of the incredibly successful 08 model the 2009 RCX will be the new benchmark in tournament water skis. It is quite gratifying to watch our competitors try and produce skis which will perform like D3’s. Many of their advertized “innovations” are features which have been standard for us since our inception in 2002. If imitation is the ultimate compliment we continue to be honored by these attempts.
Using the age old “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” philosophy, the 2009 RCX is the same molded shape as the 2008 model. After testing with Jonathan and new team member Terry Winter we have modified the overall rocker shape to improve the skis out-bound direction off of the second wake. The final touch the boys asked for was to calm down the finish of the turn. The modified rocker takes this into consideration and in combination with a tweak to the flex pattern Denny has delivered on their requests.
Please enjoy our latest effort. The 2009 RCX will have your competition seeing “red” as your scores improve. Have a great season.”

o Includes 30 day Performance Guarantee
o CAD design from tip to tail creates the most perfect shapes in our history.
o Sharper upper bevel for great tracking and stability through the turns.
o Center–Ride rocker technology puts the skier directly in the center of the ski and eliminates tip-rise at the end of the turns. The skier stays effortlessly on the perfect fulcrum point of the ski.
o Thinner side profile for deep, stable turns and incredible turn initiation.
o Slalom course specific rocker pattern with the perfectly programmed rise over distance allows the ski to follow a naturally tight arc creating effortless turns that achieve maximum angle.
o Bevel size reduction in key areas of the ski make the RC the fastest D3 ever produced.
o Full length carbon laminates for a true tip to tail flex pattern creating superior rebound with maximum cross-course holding power.
o Stiffer mid-flex and increased torsional resistance improves stability and keeps out-bound direction
o Increased carbon support in the center of the fulcrum point keeps the finish of the turn predictable.
o Hot new bottom graphics and an all new embossed RCX on the top.
